Anger is one letter away from 'D'anger..

   Why are we angry!??
In the recent past we're seeing a new felt anger. In Syria, recently a nerve gas attack killed more than a hundred people, including children.. The images were horrifying to say the least.. Speechless!!
In Kashmir, youth fill the streets to attack army and police pickets..while Gau- rakshaks in Rajasthan killed a man brutally..
Anger, it seems, has begun to pervade our daiy lives.. Why do we get angry?? Anger arises because of how we interpret and react to certain situations.. Every one has their own triggers for what makes them angry, but some common ones include situations in which we feel threatened or attacked, frustrated or powerless..
This prompts us to analyze the relationship between spirituality and anger..Anger is a potential destructive emotion and often related to greediness and attachment.. While anger  can be a source of wisdom when it brings awareness, it has the potential to descend into hatred or aggression..
Anger is not be repressed, but to be approached with mindfulness.. As with other emotions, we have the seed of anger within us..someone else cannot make us angry.. The proper response to anger is loving kindness and non- attachment..anger intoxicates the mind, the mind enslaves the tongue, the tongue spews venom, venom strains relations..
Angerr has potential for becoming fixated and distracts us from our relationship with one another and with God.
Anger can change a good person into sinful man..anger is the feeling of antagonism, the feeling of irritation caused by some real or supposed grievances or inadequacies and can be caused by both external and internal events..
The consequences of anger are long lasting.. It takes us just a second to throw a stone into bucket of water, but ripples this sets off, take long to settle..anger can be controlled by practice.. If we give ourselves time, any angry feelings that we have, eventually subsides ..once this stage is crossed, we will,in course of time, learn not to react angrily, no matter what the provocation ..Control of anger, thus ,is the first step in the attempt at spiritual journey ..so every one should must cultivate spiritual feelings With constant practice.. Than it turns into habit ..and humanity wins...
